- Notice Period
- Most companies require at least 48–72 hours’ notice before the scheduled move to cancel without penalty.
- Some may ask for up to 7 days notice, especially during peak moving season (May–September)
- Rescheduling Instead of Canceling
- Many movers allow one free reschedule if you move the date instead of canceling outright.
- We answer our phone after hours....so can assist you with last minute panic.
- Last-Minute or Same-Day Cancellation
- If you cancel on the day of the move, you may owe a minimum charge.
